Re: Leather Cleaning Companies
Spudda's probably just gauging the quality of the cleaning before setting up a sideline business. Mirror finish leathers.

Thinking outside the box, as ever, Blade! What next; grasstracking on it? Was that you up by Mottram roundabout last Friday about 3.30?

Re: One life already claimed at the TT
I think the threat to road racing is already growing - new chicanes at NW200 as one example. I think we've had our Concorde moment for the smaller road race events and most will follow suit. I know it's not comparing like for like as the amount of riders through any one section at any moment is less...

Stopping fingering rings would be my advice. Or swap fingers. I'm never getting my prostate checked by you again. Or if I do, at least take off the bike gloves.
At least you now know and can stop worrying Rich. That's got to be a good thing.

Re: A US study into filtering
Seconded on the relative speed comment. Also, if the traffic is flowing rather than stop-start crawling, there is less likelihood of cars suddenly changing lanes without looking.

Re: Michael Dunlop switches teams
Poor form. Dunlop only gets results when the bike is 100%. Don't get me wrong, when it is he's on a different level, but he has no interest/ability to ride around issues (not that any bike could be perfect all the way around an IOMTT lap). IMHO he should have stuck with it and developed the bike thi...

I should get one and add it to my language services offering! Might stop me getting so many whacks round the back of the head too.

Re: DaytonaBuff
Thanks for all the birthday wishes and thanks to Kwacky for punting a link to this thread my way on FB. :-) Apologies for not having been around for a fair while, I shan't bore you all with details but I'm aiming to get back on here enjoying the banter from now on. Had a fantastic birthday, starting...

Sorry to hear this Blade, but as has been said many times above, it *is* manageable. I've recently had basically the same issue due to the same root causes. I have done some useful self-help courses over Ashton way if you want me to PM you some details? They do everything from mindfulness, coping wi...

Re: Getting Back In The Saddle
Just take it easy mate. Remember to keep your head up for vision, relax and don't lock arms, concentrate on using core muscles. Grip tank with thighs under braking. The usual advice... Maybe reread a bit of Keith Code on body positioning. After months on the bus you're bound to be in awe of the acce...

Could be spot on mate! I'm actually off to see a bloke in Stockport who does scaffolding planks and sleepers, etc. So fingers crossed I won't need to take you up on your kind offer but can I keep you as a backup, mate? Will sort you a few beers if so. Cheers Stew. You getting on better with the bike...
