Re: Leather Cleaning Companies
I clean all my own leather, from bike stuff to sofas and car seats. Lots of good easy to use products available.
Excuse my ignorance but what are the benefits of using a professional company over a diy job ?

Re: Leather Cleaning Companies
Spudda's probably just gauging the quality of the cleaning before setting up a sideline business. Mirror finish leathers.
My name is Buff, and I have Carbon Fibrosis.

Re: Leather Cleaning Companies
I have the autoglym leather cleaner and their leather feed for the car interior but not used on my leather suits. Might give it a try and was going to clean the car interior this week anyway.

Re: Leather Cleaning Companies
Got quotes of between $300-$500 for patched repairs but informed that Beriks are known for stretching at the stitching after an off. I've had three in those. I can get the exact set for $600 (reduced as run out) but am going to look at a one piece. Need new gloves and helmet as well.Blade wrote:Kiwi can you get them repaired I got mine done professional for about £100 after a big off.

Anybody know of anybody else who does a cleaning service ??

Looks like I have just saved £70 by cleaning my own kit. That's £70 towards other bike bling or kit is my thinking

Re: Leather Cleaning Companies
Something affordable. I did like the Berik gear but had 2 repairers tell me the stitching doesn't hold up in crashes very well.Blade wrote:I'm looking at the Laguna seca 1 piece good suit with alot of the tech features of top of the range £2000 suits.

I'd consider a good second set for the track and then buy good road gear once the D6 is a go.
