There both great bikes i think you have to go for the one that you want to open the garage too the most forget stat's as it would be very close between them its how it makes YOU feel that's the important bit.

Any bike can have soul as long as it tickles you man berries.

I learned some years ago that the best bike for you is the one that excites YOU every time you open the garage door regardless of what anyone else may say.

I'm going to vote for the Kwak, because the Daytona is easily the least comfortable sports bike I've ever ridden and it's already got loads of people queueing up to tongue its sphincter.

IMHO the 675 is very comfortable, if it's ridden in 20 min sessions at full tuck or hanging off like a monkey. If you try to ride it like a "sit up & beg", then it's very heavy on the wrists etc...
Nonetheless Triumph have addressed that issue, and also created one that is comfortable for more commuter/UK road orientated riding.

P.S. Interesting to know that a Hardly Davison rider would choose the ZX, I expect that fact will also greatly help Monty's decision mate.

If I had to choose I would say the ZX6R, however, I haven't ridden the T675 so it isn't fair.

The only '600' I've had any issues with on track was a 675 and in race trim they are insane!

My advice? Ride both and see which one you want to ride again!

Actually jokes aside that is one thing that Triumph kicks Kawasaki's arse at. There's not a spot of rust or corrosion on any part or fastner in the 11 year old pile of parts I have in the garage. Bearing in mind that bike was ridden through many salty winters and lived outside for about 4 years that's impressive.

I've looked at a lot of bikes over the last 18 months and Kawasaki appears to be the worst out of the Hondas, Yams and even Suzukis. I've especially noticed a lot of flaky paint on wheels and swing arms.

Having owned 3 Trumpets and 4 kwaks I can say that my experience is completely the opposite.

Don't forget you're comparing an 11 year old bike. Part supplies and materials have changed.

That said, I don't park mine in a garage and I ride when there's road salt on the ground.

my zx10r has high quality fasteners and fixings ,I think kwak have come a long way recently in terms of quality.I like the 675 its bit different and sounds really special ,Rutter also rates it highly around his test track mallory and it puts in some giant slaying times

All joking aside the 675 is a stonking bit of kit. It handles well and the triple engine makes it very useable on the road or the track.

My zx6r is an ongoing project and I've replaced loads of parts on it, including bolts. But I did that on the D600 and the 1050 Speed Triple as well as the CBR600rr and there were no build quality issues on the Honda. I like stainless steel bolts on a bike.

My experience when i was looking at 675's recently I was surprised how many looked ruff and tatty. Did not look round many kwak 600's but my 636 has not had any problems but it has been a garage/nice weather bike
