Re: Work
On a plus side my wife has had a promotion. It doesn't mean much now bit it's needed for her to become a full manager.

Sounds like perhaps you should work on promoting your wife's careerer. Support her into becoming a big hitter in the property industry, and you become the house-husband. More time with your kids, more time with your motorbikes, more time to plot her next (work politics) move and less stress & grief for you.Kwacky wrote:On a plus side my wife has had a promotion. So it turns out that my boss has to recommend me for the job.
So that's that then.

Re: Work
On a serious note you never know Kwacky, if you talked to your boss about it all surely they can't refuse you for applying for any other job, unless it is unsuitable to your skills etc but if not they surely have to give you all support you need if it's your skill set?

Re: Work
Many people tried leaving the machine shop at my old employer, most of them got blocked by the manager. Most people had to leave the company to get any change in career.Rossgo wrote:On a serious note you never know Kwacky, if you talked to your boss about it all surely they can't refuse you for applying for any other job, unless it is unsuitable to your skills etc but if not they surely have to give you all support you need if it's your skill set?
