Re: Work
Prepped for a big teams meeting with a large construction company, a meeting they requested. 1 person turned up. It took about 10 minutes. Fwiw a lot of our Teams meetings go something like that. Invites received & confirmed by the (eg 10-20) involved. Meeting opens, host there video on mic on....

Re: Work
Just at the end of 3 weeks face to face training with Defence at my local RAAF Base. Definitely enjoyed the 8.30 am starts and 20 min commutes. The courses have been designed for Defence personnel and contractors that have had no fuels experience at all, so have been a bit of suck eggs other than l...

Re: What are you doing today ??
I've been in to work today. Once again the air conditioning wasn't working. It was about 28° in there I'll be glad when we leave. I was at a work seminar at some offices in Leeds last weekend. Huge building over three floors, and we were just occupying one lecture theatre. Apart from myself and the...

Sounded like a great commuting option, when I saw your thread title.: Lowest motorcycle VED with superlightweight, unparalleled manoeuvrability & handling all presented in one of Hinckley's finest classics designs .. ?

,,,,,,If my IT career lasts more than another 5 years before I bail out to do something totally different, I'll be amazed I realise it's way below your skill levels Jon, but I do recall how much you seemed to enjoy your temporary role during the Cv19 debacle.. With your skillset, and general integr...

Re: It's that time again
I'm never going I to get a quote like that. There's got to be a marker on my account. I'm in my 50s, bikes have security and are garaged, I've got full no claims, advanced riders qualification,. I tick all the boxes for cheap insurance. Maybe it's just them using market forces strategy mate.: Charg...

Anything indictable is always a bit of a pain, because you never can really knowingly predict the time CC will take on each. Fwiw I've been involved in a fraud case, and the Scumbag is still happily free. Latest delay (change of Court location) has the case scheduled for 2028 now ffs.!!!! Last week ...

Many happy returns D6Nutz, I hope you have a really good one mate. You needn't worry about me crashing your celebration on the 15th, I'm on that Saturday & my shift starts morning ( so 10-6pm) so even without the inevitable overtime after I couldn't even have made it if you were just down the ro...

I've got a Saturday off !!!!
First time in a long time.
So, what am I doing on this lovely sunny spring Saturday off ?
I'm sitting on my laptop trying to catch up on the latest raft of legislation changes coming my way.
No, my dog isn't impressed either.

A letter from BMW, if my engine revs over 12500 rpm the oil filter could unscrew itself... Cheap Brazilian made mahle filters. I will check if it's got one of those and if it has the replacement is free at the dealership. I wonder if they will change the oil too. The cynic in me says that the money...

+1, fwiw the Pipe Werx one suits the style of the bike best from my perspective.
However I do recall someone fitting an aftermarket can that was shorter, and consequently dumped the hot exhaust fumes onto the luggage (where the previous silencer had not been an issue)
