Sunday 29th June -Didcot - Cheddar Gorge
Meet up at the McDonald's car park for 10am. It's on the A34/A4130 roundabout. There's a petrol station next to it as well so we can fuel up. Postcode OX14 4TX for SatNav.
Ride out to Cheddar Gorge. Find somewhere nearby for lunch then a play around there for a couple of hours before heading home.
I'm coming down from Birmingham. We've got others coming from the South East so shout if you want to hook up on the ride down to the meeting point.

If I do get a bike sorted and make this, I will be coming from Billericay, Essex. So we could try and sort out meeting up and making our way hand in handCavetroll87 wrote:Im in so anybody heading over from SE gimme a shout!

Sounds good although maybe a little dangerous to ride the whole way holding handsRob wrote:If I do get a bike sorted and make this, I will be coming from Billericay, Essex. At the moment I'm rota'd to work but if it changes I'll pop along,
I too am struggling to get to meets this year, as of yet I'm still in for the Buxton one on the Saturday 24th.

I'm in, and would happily lead from didcot to cheddar if you want. I might need to research the route a bit better thoughCavetroll87 wrote:Im in so anybody heading over from SE gimme a shout!

I'm based in Reading so probably enroute for cavetroll and rob. If we hook up near reading I know a nice route up to didcot on the back roads.

Undecided as yet. It's just shy of 3 hours to Didcot for me, it would be a long old day.
I'll have a think.

I would suggest we meet in Theale. If you come off the M4 at junction 12 and head in the Newbury direction, immediately after the 1st roundabout there is a layby, It's a really easy place to meet. If we meet up there for about 9ish then we can take the back roads up through Pangebourne and Streatley to Didcot.
Cavetroll, if you are coming up this would also be a good place to hook up, assuming you plan on the M25 / M4.

I'm out the night before at the Paul Weller gig on Cannock Chase so doubt i will be too keen to be out at 7am the next morning so it's unlikely i will make this.
Shame as i really wanted to ride round Cheddar Gorge.
