May I introduce myself?
Hi everyone,
This forum was drawn to my attention by seeing a picture of my cousin Cavetroll 87 in a Tankslap hoodie getting very lubricated at his stag do Saturday night so here I am.
Aged a paltry 58 years old I live in Sunny Gillingham Kent (Tax haven of the south east) and have three bikes!
600 Bandit (not well at the moment)
Goldwing 1500GL (25 years young this year)
Triumph Daytona 955i (Bloody quick!)
I also belong to another forum called gbriders.com and was a club co-coordinator before the website was hit by a virus and was changed from a club to an open forum.
I have been to France Spain ,Wales and the peak district with some great people as well as loads of days out, are there any ride outs or events organized through Tankslap?
Hope to meet a few of you in person sometime.
Cheers
Alan W.

Welcome along Mr W.
Incidently if you think describing yourself as "General Buikder" will confuse BB41 enough to avoid her wrath, you may be mislead.

Thanks guys, I have arrange a couple of ride outs before and may well do so again on here if there's enough interest.

Hi Alan. Thanks for signing up. Sorry to hear you're related to Cavetroll
Nice mix of bikes.
There are rideouts throughout the year. I'll update the events section as they come up.
I do like those 955is. They sound great.

Re: May I introduce myself?
Thanks Kwacky,
It has the standard pipe at the mo but I do have a full race can for it but when I fitted it the engine just spluttered under 4000rpm. I think it needs remapping to enable it to work proper like.
My Brother Dave has his own car engine management manufacturing company in Watton, Norfolk (emeraldm3d.com) and he also has a 955i with the same race can. he's going to copy his map and we can download it to mine so all should be well (and loud!) I hope.
Really nice site by the way, I think I'll fit in here! (if I can disassociate myself from Nik (Cavetroll)

Re: May I introduce myself?
Hi ya Al! You won't see me on any ride outs as I live on the other side of the globe (unless I finally work out how to get a TT IOM trip in past the missus!). You'll find a few Triumph riders here as a quite a few are refugees from the now defunct daytona600.org site, although a good number of the D600 owners have upgraded to other bikes since, hoping to myself if I can ever get my POS back on the road.
Happiness is not a destination. It is a way of life.

We're not related honest....
Remember: If in Doubt use Full Throttle, It may not make the situation any better, But it will end the suspense...
