WSB Estoril May 2022

Me, my son and my uncle are thinking of going over for the WSB in May. I've done a bit of searching for flights etc but struggling to find public transport to the circuit. I'm thinking of staying in Cascais which is south of the circuit on the coast. Don't really want to hire a car as lots of beer will be involved.

Anyone been that can offer advice?

Your hotel may even run a shuttle if enough people staying there are attending the event .

Are you thinking of Portimao Jack? Estoril is near Lisbon. I'm looking at trains but there don't seem to be any near the circuit. Buses...can't work them out at all.

You can get a train into Estoril then a taxi or bus to the circuit.

yeah my bad .
but looking at the map Cascais is only 12km from the circuit so a taxi would still be reasonably cheap option .

All booked apart from the race tickets

All booked now. Race tickets came on-line this morning. £70 or thereabouts for the weekend including pit walk and paddock pass . Total cost including, car park at airport, flights including one 20kg bag, taxi from airport to hotel and back, 3* hotel with breakfast and race tickets = £420 each. Just need to save up for some beer tokens now.

What a weekend! Even managed to photobomb a live Eurosport broadcast in the paddock Quite a few teams were staying in our hotel apparently. I only saw Kohta Nazone.
