Re: Sleepy Joe
I predict that he will step down due to medical reasons and Harris will take the reins appointing Hilary Clinton VP within 2 years .

Re: Sleepy Joe
I can't see him doing the full 4 years. He's previously said he wants the younger generation of democrats to come through.
Hilary isn't that popular in the Democrat Party. I think it would be too bold a move to have women as president and vice president. They still need to win over Joe Public at the next election.

I would hope that if it came down to that, she'd pick someone other than Clinton, who, let's face it, is no spring chicken anymore.

Re: Sleepy Joe
I hope that some radical fundamentalist trumpist doesn't find a path to infecting him with Cv19 between now & Trump's January eviction date.
If he did pass before hand, I could well see antagonists creating a problematic situation from it.
Biden's Irish decadency may have some considerable leverage on our brexshit situation.?

I just want to know what he's promised Bernie and how long it will be before he reneges on it.

Re: Sleepy Joe
So the colleges have announced him as the winner.
His acceptance speech was a bit troubling, he couldn't stop coughing.

Re: Sleepy Joe
It did cross my mind that Trump was stalling the end point as long as humanly possible, in the hope that Biden curled up his toes first.?Kwacky wrote:So the colleges have announced him as the winner.

Then he would, presumably, claim that as his opponent was no longer an option Trump wins by default.??
"Ongoing litigation" being Trump for "FFS hurry up & die Sleepy Joe".

Re: Sleepy Joe
There's a few possible scenarios that would come into play if Biden were to pass away before taking office....I'm fairly sure that in all of them, one way or another, Harris would end up in The Oval Office.
I mean...that's sorta why she's VP....or at least a large part of why.

Yep, we're only one particularly nasty cold winter away from the first female US president.
