It seems it only affects their head office....1500 of the 100,000+ people that Morrison's employs.
They'll also be working longer hours for those 4 days, and doing a further make-up day once a month.

Something my old company were looking to trial a year back was working 9 days every 2 weeks. Essentially you'd get 1 midweek day off every 2 weeks.

I was hoping I could have a Monday off. Obviously none of this is happening as everyone is Furloughed or working 4 days with a pay cut

Good idea imo. Good for the congestion problems, emssions and the environmental as a bonus too.
