Re: M7rr fans
You know I love the m7's. But to be honest, since running the Avon's my limited talent on a bike can no longer justify the cost of Metzler's any more.

Re: M7rr fans
They will be a fanatic tyre and will be good news for the M7RR tyre fans as they will be going down on price when the M9RR are released.
Although my next tyre will be bought on a budget - thinking going back to the Michelin Pilot Powers or sticking with these 016 Pros both are brilliant for me personally

Re: M7rr fans
The Michelin Pilot Power was a great tyre but the front wore really quick on my SV650.
One of my controversially favourite road tyres was the Dunlop Qualifier. Single compound, cheaper than chips and good for 5000 not squared off miles.
I've had my say on the BT016 before now haha.
If I was looking at road tyres I think I'd be looking at S21 or S22 but am fascinated by the M7RR after Kwacky got a hard on over them

Re: M7rr fans
Just fitted s21 and impressed. Suit the s3 much better than the Supercorsa imo. S22 should only be better again.
M7rr never tried but also never heard a bad word against them. M9rr can only be better again.

Re: M7rr fans
Cav - I do agree the Qualifiers are good tyres when nice and warm..but warming them up can be a PITA. I used to use them in the wet too and was sliddy but finally they lost grip on a dropdown curb which caused me to come off and consequently I had to get rid of them.
The pilot powers I used in every whether seem to get a lot of miles out of them and I could feel when they were letting go, I had them for a couple of years and did really like them. I could seem to trust it to just get on with the job no matter what the weather was like

Re: M7rr fans
They are a very good all round tyre.
I will say though they have taken A little bit of the ST-RS agility away compared to the Supercorsas. I guess that is to be expected though.

Re: M7rr fans
Sound like a fantastic tyre. But I wonder what the price is?
