Without bringing the B word into it, until that is decided I can’t commit to any major expense.
It was a fabulous ride though , a real sports bike for the road. Enough power for me. And quite comfy too.
Do you have a different seat on yours, Blade? The only comfort issue I had was the seat seemed to be digging into the back of the top of my legs. Couldn’t work out why as there was no obvious reason for it.
I tried a Monster 1200 before and to be honest it left me a bit cold. I felt the power overwhelmed it a bit. Very twitchy. Quick shifter and blipper were ace. I wouldn’t swap my Multi for it. The Multi is better in every way.
Shame the 959 has no blipper.

Yes I have the race seat. Not quite as it sounds tbh and is the most recommended for the Panigale range. Quite comfy and about an inch taller.
I've test rode a multi and for a road bike it was mighty quick and mighty impressive. I've not ridden a monster but it would have to be an absolute weapon to better a Multi imo

I love my Multi. I've looked at and tested others but nothing comes close for what I want from a bike.
It's quick, comfy, handles really well, the suspension is great and it's economical for such a large bike.

The first photo disappeared so I uploaded it again. No idea why.
Tbh I think I prefer plain red to the colours on the Corse bike.

You can get some good deals on the 959. The 899 appears to be more popular so it's holding its price.

Ducati sportsbikes should be red with carbon mudguard and white numberboards. Classic perfection

I suspect the 959 will be discontinued this year.

Rumours on its replacement???

Rumours of a V4 but Ducati MD denies it.
Apparently the 1000cc V4R has a different bottom end to the V4S and its been suggested it would work on an 800cc version.
They will need something to replace the 959.

They 've always had a junior (if that's the right word) superbike and an 800cc v4 would go down let hot cakes.
I think alot of people would prefer it to the 1100 V4.

Although there is a good argument for a well conceived Tricolore scheme.?

Someone at Ducati obviously has a sense of humour.
