Re: New West Mids Triumph Dealer
I currently use Staffordshire Triumph - but if it is Tamworth where the Honda dealership is too, that'll be a lot more useful. I could actually leave work early and pop in for any work required on the bike on the way home.

My mate has worked there for years. He sent me photos of the new stock arriving.

The Speed Twins look fab as do the Scrambler 1200s but the Scramblers are too tall for my liking.

Re: New West Mids Triumph Dealer
Thanks for the heads up! I'll definitely be heading there when I've made my mind up if I want a Street Triple or a Street Twin...

If that's the Dorian at Ducati Worcs who I think it is he's the chap who used to own the Triumph in Birmingham.

Re: New West Mids Triumph Dealer
I phoned saturday to book my bike in. Spoke to a Mark Warley. He asked me to pop in for a chat one day (i let him know where I work), said they are still getting up to speed. He told me they had the bikes in and have their technicians going through all the training.
If I can't get there tomorrow, I will pop in on Friday after work

He perhaps knows he would need your bike for a week to service D, so wants to chat about availability

Re: New West Mids Triumph Dealer
I did reel off a really big list of jobs that need doing. Starting with "I just tried to remove a header pipe bolt and it rounded straight away"
I'm gonna ask for a full service (spanner has been on for a year)
fit Arrow 3 into 1 system
change the tyres
fit a new radiator
I've also got brake pads, but will do that myself unless he says that he can add it to te list for cheap.
I already have all the parts, so it's mostly labour and consumables I need quoting.

Don't worry. I was there on Saturday. I did warn them that D6 might be heading their way.Blade wrote:He perhaps knows he would need your bike for a week to service D, so wants to chat about availability

Re: New West Mids Triumph Dealer
The positive that came out of me seeing what state my bike was in, was that the wife said maybe I should get a new one around Christmas time.
So now thinking about a 1200 Tiger (with my head)
but my heart keeps saying speed/street triple
