I wasn't going to buy one but how can I refuse an offer like that?

I think that Realrider app is dangerous as it tracks all your movements on the bike all the time.

Re: Brammo announce smart-phone, route-planning deal
The big issue with fully electric vehicles has to be range. A bike with less than a 60 mile highway range for me kills it. It's said to have around 130 city miles in it and a combined mileage of up to 80. I'd have thought reduced on windy days or hilly routes. in my opinion I don't think they are yet at a point to get people away from combustion engines.
