Re: Cartegena Feb 2014
In the past when i have finished a trackday, i always feel after thinking about the day that i want to go again the next day to put into practise what i have learned that day.

I need to do a Euro track event like this. If I start to badger Mrs Kwacky now she might give in before I retire.

Re: Cartegena Feb 2014
It's my 40'th next year so I'm very seriously considering a euro track day as my present to myself.. It does seem that Cartegena is popular, it's also at the right time of year..
I do want to do a couple of track days this year though. I really want to learn proper body position, and a track with a tutor is the only place for that kind of thing..

If you're serious about doing one early next year I'll get to work on Mrs Kwacky.

Re: Cartegena Feb 2014
I need to work out costs and feasibility, I've already mentioned it to Mrs Nutz and have got an all clear.. There are a couple of restrictions on dates, but apart from that. It would be good to know if there are others going as well, it wouldn't be the same by myself.
@Godzilla - Roughly how much do you think these trips cost, all in ???

Re: Cartegena Feb 2014
I would book up a trip for early next year!D6Nutz wrote:@Godzilla - Roughly how much do you think these trips cost, all in ???
In regards to costs, the rough breakdown of when I done Aragon last year
£600 for trip (track costs, bike transport, hotel)
£160 flights
£60 car hire (could share if theres a few though)
Approx £100-£120 on fuel
£250 tires - I went through 2 rears (but that was down to bad suspension and and a reasonably old bike)
Then your food and drink on top
Roughly, £1000-£1200 all in I reckon

Re: Cartegena Feb 2014
That sounds expensive but it's easy to put £100 aside each month.
I'm very interested.

Actually that doesn't sound too bad, as you say Kwacky its just tucking a £100 a month away.. Need to put some serious thought into it..

Re: Cartegena Feb 2014
Thats a pretty good estimate. My trip was £469 for 4 days on track.Rob wrote:I would book up a trip for early next year!D6Nutz wrote:@Godzilla - Roughly how much do you think these trips cost, all in ???

Shared a hire car.
I didnt add up the fuel, but maybe a bit less. Cartegena is a lower speed track.
Tyres - same here, 2 rears and a front, but still some left in the rear I put on whilst there.
I can feel a Tankslap Euro rip coming on

Right, I've got permission.
That was so easy she's either shagging someone else or she wants her own trip away. Either way who cares?
