He never wanted to go so im glad it's come to an end. There was no point for Melandri, no point for aprilla and at least now there is a seat free for some other racer who actually wants the seat and can benefit Aprilla. It was a crazy crazy decision by Aprilla to force Melandri into something he publicly stated he didn't wanted to do.

Don't know the detail but it seems stupid that Aprilla forced him into this. You need to be highly motivated and hungry to ride in the premium class. Sending someone who clearly stated it was against his wishes seemed crazy. I assume Melandri was contracted for 2015 and if he didn't ride he had penalty clauses on his contract otherwise seems crazy he accepted the whole scenario for this long.
