I m not surprised tbh. Both riders are title challengers this year and need to keep 100% focus on motogp, plus no point being exposed to risk of injury.

That makes sense to me. Neither of them want to run the risk of injury. There's nothing in it for them that's more important than the MotoGP championship

Bradley Smith and co are doing the Suzuka 8hrs I think this year so they have sent the deputies instead

I was only joking about Stoner, haha. Will be good to see how Casey performs competitively against current in form motogp riders like Bradley and Pol. Perhaps HRC management are thinking the same.

I would have thought his race fitness will be the key issue. It'll be interesting to see how he gets on with that side of it.
Endurance should suit Stoner as he's a real thinker. He should do well in a race where he's got time to plan

Bike fit is a little unquie.
Just look at John McGuiness not your typical athlete but he can do six laps of the TT at record breaking pace and that must take some effort.
