Bank Holiday Monday Rideout - Buxton
Meet at The Crescent for a 10.30 get away.
Post up if you're going to be there earlier for breakfast.
I'm not sure yet. If I'm meeting Rossgo on the way then I won't be there in time for breakkie

I'll be there.
I'm tempted to have a spot of brekkie first, Monty-style (not rushed, just chilling out).
It's only an hour to get there for me. Well, it's an hour and a half if I take some decent roads up there instead of all this straight road nonsense!

I wanted to move this to Events but the mod tool won't let me
I'll see what Rossgo is doing. If he's coming I'll pick him up at Tamworth Services then ride up from there.

Nope, you can't create threads in the events section. Only the calendar can create a thread in there, I might need to create a mod tool to convert a thread to a calendar event..Kwacky wrote:I wanted to move this to Events but the mod tool won't let me
I really fancy a rideout, but it's 3 hours to get to the meeting point and the weather here is looking really really shite for Monday..

I will get there for a coffee about 10 but will breakfast at home before setting out. I have a good butty wagon on route if people want brunch. There is also a nice deli as another option and save some space as mid afternoon we can stop at the best cake shop in Derbyshire.
Looking forward to it should be a good day.

That's the one top breakfast and very good coffee.Kwacky wrote:The Cafe @Green Pavilion http://www.greenpavilion.co.uk/page_2188127.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; was the place mentioned by Monty
Very easy to find, with your back to the crescent go left. It's next door to the Natwest and has a red illy sign above the door.
Might also have a bright yellow Daytona parked outside.

If it makes any difference Ross the weather report for Buxton looks fine all day.
At the moment, that is.

Good point Phil and no idea to be honest, I'll give them a call.Itchy wrote:What time does it open on a Bank Holiday, Monty?
In other news got my pass stamped until lunch, which I read as I can go out on the bike for lunch and then ride back. (from where ever we end up having lunch)

No I best give it a miss I don't fancy chancing it. It's a long ride if it does piss it down! Cheers for the heads up though Itchy
