TT 2017
First practise times tonight with Dunlop and Hutchy neck a neck.
Having read the Gary Johnson article in Fast Bikes this month, if he gets a podium on a self built and self financed bike that would be a massive achievement.

I see we've got the annual pilgrimage of muppets. Loads of crashes already. IofM police seem to be very busy. I know they caught some bike thieves last night.

Speed limits are inevitable when so many people seem to want to ride like a twat.Kwacky wrote:I see we've got the annul pilgrimage of muppets. Loads of crashes already. IofM police seem to be very busy. I know they caught some bike thieves last night.

Re: TT 2017
Honda are using the motec electronics package from BSB to sort out the fly by wire throttle issues . Hutchy running the 2015 R6 when he ran the 2017 R6 at the NW200.

I would love to see GM and Gary Johnson go well. Gary Johnson is a bloody quick lad at the TT and a throughly nice bloke. I wish him well and if the bike is quick and reliable he is a definitive podium threat and even potential race winner on a supersport bike although MD and Hutchy will have very different plans to that

Re: TT 2017
I always wouldn't bet against the revitalised old boy Rutter challenging for a podium in the Superstock race.
Whatever as always it's going to be epic.
Wish I was there tbh. Sorely need a trip to the TT

I don't like Dunlop so we differ there. He will do well if the bike doesn't let him down though.
Rutter is very local to where i used to live and he drinks in my parents local from time to time. I hope he does well.

Re: TT 2017
After reading the Dunlop book I have to say I'm a bit of a fan I like the bloke he's not all ways the nicest but you see what you get and he can ride a bike. Finding huchy a bit of a moaner. To come back from what he has is amazing and is a fantastic rider. But he's not my cup of tea.
"80mph" sorry officer I possibly could not have done that I'm no Valentino Rossi.

Re: TT 2017
I don't normally ever let personality influence my opinion of a rider and prefer to let their riding do the talking.
Only exceptions to that rule are foggy who is just a massive dick and I admire MD''s riding but when he was nasty on TV to his brother I think at the nw200 last year or the year before I went off him quite a lot and the verdict is out on whether I like the bloke.
Not that my opinion counts for anything
