Re: For the love of car boot sales
Next to the ‘meat man’ is a bloke selling out-of-date broken biscuits, packs of 30 toilet rolls (the type that you put your finger through when you wipe) and, jars of Hellmanns Mayonnaise for £1.
Who wouldn’t want to buy a jar of mayonnaise that’s been sitting in the red hot sun for at least 6 hours?
It’s a brilliant, and cheap weight loss system…..for £5 you could get yourself salmonella poisoning, and shit yourself thin…..awesome!

Re: For the love of car boot sales
I often go to the one down the road.
It's amazing the cr@p that some people expect to be able to sell.
There was a couple there the other morning and they had a stall just selling video tapes. Who on earth would want to buy 1980's video tapes ffs ???
I have picked up a few bargains though, over the years.
I admit to being "the haggler", although I wouldn't waste the time on any Morrissey CD's

I hate car boot sales, you won't find me at one. The french do loads of them, especially in the summer, no thanks - shite that no one wants or dodgy stuff. Land fill is what is required.

Car boot sales are the most bizarre idea. Rummaging around in tat that someone else wants shot of but hopes some muppet might buy.!
Weird but i guess its good we don't all like the same things. Each to their own.

Re: For the love of car boot sales
Me and Aimee go to car boots sometimes, it's ok something to do I say. Hate being the one saying I'm bord got nothing to do sort of thing!
Though there's someone at Aimee's work who goes to car boots and picks up really good stuff that the original owner thought was just crap...this person has this as a part time job as she can get very good profit out of it. A lot of people don't realise what they are selling is quiet valuable and some people will jump in and take it while they can! If that makes sense!!

Re: For the love of car boot sales
I did one with my Mum about 20 years ago. We pulled up in the car and some scrote opened the boot and started rummaging through our stuff before we'd turned the motor off. Never ever again!
This cracks me up though
