Re: What are you doing today ??
Had a pet scan today, they injected me with radio active glucose that sticks to inflammation in the bodies cells
The inflamed cells are picked up on the scan and put into a 3d picture by a super computer
Took three hours keeping still was a ball ache so they wrapped my legs together with insulation tape !
Hopefully it shows something fixable

Hope they find what is causing the problem.Perkles wrote:Had a pet scan today, they injected me with radio active glucose that sticks to inflammation in the bodies cells

Busy night. I'm in London tomorrow and Thursday so I need to prepare and pack for that
Sam is out so I've cooked dinner, walked the dog, done my prep and now I'm off to fetch my daughter from dance.

Good luck with it.
I'm in the application process for an Access to HE in Engineering to start in September. Plan after that is to do a Combined Engineering degree in stages, HNC, HND and BSc at Cov Uni.

Re: What are you doing today ??
That's basically the same pathway I'm on.
I left school, got a Level 3 BTEC in Mechanical Engineering. Got an apprenticeship where I gained an NVQ Level 2 in Electronic, Electrical and Mechanical Engineering, an NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering. HNC in Mechanical Engineering. HND in Mechanical Engineering and September should be the start of my BSc in Mechanical Engineering.
I'll stop after the BSc, do not have the want nor time for a MSc

Wrapping and hiding presents for Jorja.
Decided to string it out by hiding all here presents so she has to hunt for them

Today at the hospital for my missus. She is having her gallbladder removed. She's a little worried but she's been in pain for a year or so so it needs to take place. A long wait awaits there's a fair few people here!

I'm slobbing out in my hotel room, doing absolutely nothing. I woke up at the usual time but drifted back to sleep. It's been a while since I had a lie in.

I don't think so , if you often used the bike to visit her it would seem appropriate .rocket wrote:Going to a funeral it's my aunts going on my own and tempted to take the bike but would that be disrespectful ??
