Those are tall shoulders to stand on. The film is a classic which has a keen and devout following. The critics will be looking to attack it.

Re: BladeRunner 2049
Is Harrison Ford going to reprise all his roles to hand them over? he must be short of money...
Ryan Gosling could be a good choice though.
its one of my favourite films, so i hope they do a good job...

Saw this the other day. I think it looks great and love the music. Gosling should be good in this. He's a moody tw@ in most things so could be suited to some gritty sci-fi.

Re: BladeRunner 2049
Blade runner is probably my favourite film ever, every time I see it I see something else I haven't noticed before - it has a look and feel unlike anything else I've ever seen, as Kwacky says thouse are tall shoulders to stand on and I would most upset to see it diminished in any way at all. That said I look forward to seeing a lengthier trailer and it may well be a birthday present to myself next June if it's any good.

Re: BladeRunner 2049
I love sci fi stuff. And I know it's a classic, but I found Blade Runner a bit dull tbh.
The effects and feel still looks amazing now, which is really impressive, but I found the storyline a bit boring.
I hope this will be good. I do like the cameo's from Ford.

You beat me to it.
Looks like they're trying to stay faithful to the first film.

Re: BladeRunner 2049
I found BladeRunner very dull when I watched it - don't even remember what happens in it to be honest.
That being said, I was in GCSEs being forced to watch it at school when I could see Netball being played at the Girl School next door

Re: BladeRunner 2049
It's not a vastly popular film but it does have a dedicated following.
The book is excellent.

Had some great actors in it...Rutger Hauer was always good, and Joanna Cassidy was a total babe back in the day.

Re: BladeRunner 2049
Roll on October. Ryan Gosling is good at these kind of things and it looks faithful enough.
I might dig out my copy of the original. Haven't watched it for ages.
