Battery was fully charged and on the bike.
Went away for a week, turned the trickle charger off and the battery was flat when I came to use her on Sunday afternoon
Only drain on the battery would be the clock on the dash, no alarm etc
What could cause it lose charge like it has ?
Bad Battery ?
Bad earth ?
Leaving the trickle charger conected but not on ?

Re: Battery Concerns
Yes I did .... Bought a new trickle charger and the battery is full now
I'll take it off charge and see what it's like when I get back

Re: Battery Concerns
That's not promising. A battery shouldn't flatten that quick. I know the older alarms would drain it but I'm sure from memory mine would take a few weeks to be low so there's no way just your clock would do anything like that.

And then with the multimeter connected start the bike and watch what the voltage drops to. It should read 12-13 v with the bike off. If it drops to 10 while cranking the battery should be OK. Of it drops to 8 the battery's ducked!
