A tad but I'll live. Funny but was I told the doc not to worry about a local but he insisted. Injected my knuckle and it all came squirting out the woundD6Nutz wrote:Whoops, hope it's not too uncomfortable.

Yes I saw all the kids in Their gear standing round when I went past about 3pm, that wetherspoons doesn't have a good rep, the area isn't the best !! I live about another 2-3 miles further out on that road, pity I didn't see your post I would have stopped.Kwacky wrote:Sorry mate, only just seen this. It's in Redfield. I'm in a dodgy wetherspoons

Re: What are you doing today ??
Gave the bike a good clean, it was disgusting.... then took a trip to Bull Dog Triumph for the Tfest, while I was there the 765 RS was going to be back from a little test run, would have been rude not to take a little spin.
The induction snarl is such a great sound, makes you open it up ALL the time lol, the bike thrives on high revs, nice to ride a triple again. The dash and and the controls are very nice, I did not play to much just wanted to ride it to see what its like,, but you can adjust the views to suit you, lots of riding modes and options to fiddle around with. I just left it in sport and tried track, but other controls in the sub menus were turned on or off so I could not ride hooligan mode
Riding position very nice, felt planted and easy as well as light to ride. The bike looks well built, great brakes, nice gear box, and obviously a very nice motor. They have to bring back the Daytona and stick this engine in it...
The suspension feels good, plenty of mechanical adjustments if needed, ride was firm but not stupid stiff. But none of your electronic stuff controlling the suspension, as I have at present.
Would I buy one..... I would need more than an hours ride on a saturday with all your weekend drivers spoiling my ride. However after jumping back on mine, which in fairness is a bloody great bike and for me hard to beat. I would need to give the 765 a longer run out. But i think they have produced a very well turned out machine, well worth a test ride to see what you think.
Down sides..... I dont see any, looks good, sounds good,

Re: What are you doing today ??
I've had a great weekend
Thorpe Park on Friday for my dad's bday and then treated him to a meal out. Sat had a good blat with a couple of mates to Loomies. Then went onto the girls footy cup final, unfortunately lost 6-4. Then went to see Fast and Furious 8 - it was good but has been going on for too long now in my opinion. And today off to Thorpe Park again - I love these Merlin Passes!!
