Thanks all for the well wishes. It was a complete anti climax (luckily) in our area. About an hour of some pretty heavy rain and wind and that was it. Problem with NZ is very little land mass so it can be hard to predict these things. Just woke up so will check the news to see how the rest of the country fared.

Travelled back from Bath today. Took 3.5 hours to get home!! There was a vehicle fire on the M4 which out the motorway to a standstill, we went around the motorway instead as our sat nav didn't put us on the motorway bit even the surroundi roads w3re hectic!! When we did get back into town we did our food shopping, collected our dog sorted out the house now relaxing. Feeling absolutely shagged!!
We drove back from the Beacons today and missed the traffic you got caught in Rossgo, but only because my navigator was under instruction to keep checking the traffic app, we nipped up the 404 and back down to the M25 and missed the lot!
Currently enjoying a glass of wine and chilling out whilst setting up my new tablet.
Waiting to fly back to Aussie. The week in NZ went way too fast and made me realise how much I miss the place. I'd definitely move back if my circumstance would allow it. I can actually live here and still work Offshore just the custody issue, and not just for me, for Jess. She's keen to move to if we could.

Not sure today.....I "think" I'm hanging out with me GF later on, but not sure what we're doing yet....(makes obscene hand gesture). Got some other stuff to do re. me Dad's estate, etc.
Feel like a very early morning MTB ride when I eventually clamber out of me bed.
Dismantling furniture with the wife's assistance (I believe that's what it's called).
Such a joyous and fun activity to do together
The most laughable moments are in between her being worried about hoovering up dust whilst I'm taking the weight of all the part dismantled furniture which is very unstable single handedly she's asks do I want a brew.
I may have pointed out NO I want you to pay attention and I'll have a F'ING beer love, thank you very much.
Apparently no need for that and I'm drinking to early.........If only
Spent time with the kids this morning, while washing both cars.. Then had a lovely roast lamb cooked by Mrs Nutz, and off to see my parents in the afternoon. Bumped into my sister, her husband and kids at my parents as well so really nice afternoon.
Got home in time for it to rain on the nice clean cars
