Still got charging issues with the bike
Massive thanks to Kiwikrasher for posting me a mosfet r/r
I always thought that when you have charging issues, you need to change both the stator and the r/r
However, I've found a local triumph specialist and a cracking guy who once worked for Statstone.

Went to see him and he said you simply check the phases on the stator and that way you can identify the issue without changing both ... Bonus

Bike isn't insured or taxed at the mo so with Lee living close, he picked it up, diagnosed it and dropped it back all for £30
Turns out it is the stator so although the mosfet isn't required, I've ordered a stator and going to get him to change both.
He reckons 2 hours work at £30 per hour, yes I know I can do it myself and I have in the past but I simply haven't got time ..... Is the hourly rate about right ?
