Re: Fun in the Sun
I've got the all clear from Mrs Kwacky. I'm putting £100 aside a month to pay for it.
I might just do 2 days for my first trip to see how I get on.

I've also been cleared for a foreign track day next year and am also putting £100 a month aside..Kwacky wrote:I've got the all clear from Mrs Kwacky. I'm putting £100 aside a month to pay for it.

I think a 3 day event might be better personally. If you start to get knackered on the second day you can just pull the rest of the sessions and chill for a bit. You've still then got another day to play when you've recovered, a 2 day event you might feel that you need to make the most of the track time and go out and ride when your really too tired..

Re: Fun in the Sun
I'm sure there are arguments for and against both.
Let's see what the costs are and what's on offer then make a decision, which I presume we'll do in the autumn.

Re: Fun in the Sun
I have only done two Euro track events, Cartagena being a 2 day and Almeria a 3 day, I must admit I much preferred the 3 day event like john says if you feel knackered or whatever you still get plenty of time and it seems much more relaxed knowing you have 3 days.
I will be doing Almeria again next April !! 3 days

Re: Fun in the Sun
I would be up for this next year too if my work schedule allows.
3 days sounds best for reasons others already stated plus if more relaxed the track will be less congested as people are not trying to cram it all in. Plus allows for time to recover from any problems that could occur or sit out bad weather.

What like the immobiliser wires rubbing on the fan and not letting the bike start and taking a fecking age to find it ..Blade wrote:I would be up for this next year too if my work schedule allows.
