Do it itchy. Look at a different way. Your spending £400 as you can sell the bling on for a grand when you move the bike on

Fitted my Vance & Hines 2:1 system. Rained halfway through so stopped for a brew, cake and Delboys Garage. It sounds like a beast. It's worthy of the number plate now. Looking forward to getting a nice day to go for a hoon.

It would be a sad world if we all had the same tastes & preferences, wouldn't it.

I was planning to take one out for a test ride, was down at Bulldog this morning before a little blip to Marlborough.D41 wrote:TonyB wrote:

Man the bike is small and heavy, my legs were up around my ears, and I am not exactly one of the tallest on here!!

Rode it quiet quickly along the A4 and some other fun roads , got rained on a couple of times but nothing major, mainly dry and a lot of fun.
Also checked the tyre pressures as things did not feel right, foot pump gauge said pressures were ok, new gauge said the rear was 20 psi....... doh! I knew something was wrong won't rely on pump anymore....

There's no interference with riding position or owt.StMarks wrote:Sorry TB, but I'm really not a fan of that pipe layout.
I'm just waiting for a side panel now. I was given one by my parts guy but it's either a prototype part or for the new Scrambler standard exhaust. Or both.

It sounds brilliant. Not too loud when bumbling along but a good bark when the throttle is cracked and crackles lovely on decel. No baffles or cat to it either.Kwacky wrote:I love it.

I had the accessory seat which I think is thinner and the seat was at its lowest setting so the position was rather low for my 34" inseam.Frankie wrote:I was planning to take one out for a test ride, was down at Bulldog this morning before a little blip to Marlborough.D41 wrote:TonyB wrote:

Was suppose to go out tomorrow but it's been rained off and I took a look at the Met Office it shows that it's going to be peeing it down all morning so no ride for me don't fancy the bike getting all dirty again to be honest!

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
I like it Tony.
Took mine out today with my neighbour on his Harley. A chilled out ride with the 1200 Sportser (I think) which had oodles of low down grunt and was more capable in the corners than I gave it credit for, and the noise...
Like Satan's own chainsaw was tearing a hole in the very fabric of time & space itself! It was quite funny watching people's heads turn in the street once about 50 metres away, then again when he went past them in a cacophony of noise!!!
Also also first ride with the new grips. I had forearm ache, but I think that was down to my arms still being buggered from the gym. I'm hoping, anyway. Will have to see.
