That sucks, I cant believe you had to go into work!! what a waste of time.... I cannot believe someone will need your services between now and NY.Kwacky wrote:That doesn't sound like much fun.
I'm in work. Me and an assistant are the only two in the whole wing. Makes you wonder why they bother to open the doors, it must be costing more to have us in work.
What are you doing today ??

Today's plan was to go Orienteering at Thetford Chase, however the outside thermometer is currently showing 0.1°C and I can't see the houses on the other side of the road from us due to the fog, given the spate of accidents due to dickwits in fog and ice this week, I think we'll sack it for now as I have no desire for my family and I to end up as a radiator badge/statistic on a truck/coach/car on the roads today.

You might want to pierce that nail with a red hot needle if you're in that much pain from the thumb Tony, I'd do it somewhere washable though as the blood will likely spurt out to relieve the pressure. On the other hand, you've now got a bona fide excuse to be off your head on drink and drugs Bez style.

What Deegee says Tony, I'd pop into A&E though and let them do it.
I once reach up from the back seat of a Mini to pull myself out just as the person getting out of the front slammed the door. IT CLOSED FULLY!!!!
That was agony, but nothing compared to the pain a few hours later. One sexy nurse and a hot pin later and the pain was gone.

I've called it a day and gone home. No point sat in the office doing nothing when I've got remote access.

My thumb was the same monty. Megan had to open the car door to get my thumb free, lol. I did the hot pin thing lastnight, though I used a hot paper clip so there was no pointy end to poke my nail bed, bit disappointed that there was no spurting blood but I managed to squeeze loads out, it did take the pressure off a lot from under my nail. Think the pain is from bruising now, so I'll stick to the drugs for the day, I'm quite liking itMonty wrote:What Deegee says Tony, I'd pop into A&E though and let them do it.

Not much. I've been up all night with this cold, coughing my guts up. Although I went downstairs I kept Sam up, so that's both of us knackered.

That dog sculpture is impressive. How in the feck do they do the detail work on something like that?? I think I would get frustrated with creating something so intricate, knowing that it was going to melt at some point (soon).
