Just given the bike a wash. It was so filthy it needed two washes. Even now it needs a decent wipe and polish. I really need to get the fairings off and spend a day scrubbing it. The joys of commuting.

Are the standard lines not braided? Could this be why you didn't get on with the pads?Kwacky wrote:Ordered some Hel front lines.
Took mine out late last night to enjoy the last of the sun only to discover I've not solved the oil leak. Or automatic chain oiler as many Triumph owners call it.

They're rubber hoses on the kwak.
I'm not sure what grade fluid is in the system so I'll treat the bike to some decent stuff when I swap the lines over.

Looked at the calender and thought my MOT was due any time around now, so I checked the certificate ... expired on the 1st May ... Rode down my local centre http://probikecentre.co.uk/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; where I always go .... saw me there and then.
Did the test, stuck a massive big reflector on my reg plate and sent me on my way

Cleaned mine the weekend, and then got caught in a massive down pour as soon as I left the house this morning.
I knew I shouldn't have bothered.
Doubly bad as I put my textile stuff in the washing machine this morning, so was wearing my leathers.

I'm not sure what to wear on the bike.
This morning I had a tinted visor, summer gloves and a rain overcoat on. Had a couple of showers before i left the house so the roads were damp and there was a lot of spray on the motorway.

Not ridden mine for over a fortnight now. Life seems to get in the way.

Same. My textiles are still wet from being washed though so had no choice. I put the summer gloves on automatically, but to be honest they weregood enough for just road spray.

Its just not realistic for me. I have too much stuff to carry for work and don't work in the same place often enough to make it worth all the hassle.
