Re: Pokemon Go
Not sure what it stands for but if you have 2 of the same pokemon (lets just say a Poliwag) with maxed out stardust, 1 is level 700 and the other is level 600 (but you can't level them up anymore) and the HP is 70 for one and 50 for the other, you have a stronger or weaker pokemon. This is known as the IV.
There are various calculators that tell you how strong your pokemon is and I'm just waiting for the right one to evolve

Re: Pokemon Go
Ah cheers.
I have noticed that a few Pokémon I've powered up and topped out have then been able to be powered up more once I'd levelled up.

Re: Pokemon Go
Using the pokewhere app found a pollywrath today, 15 odd ultra balls and 3 raspberries and then the barstard ran away too!
Got a bunch of 700-900 CP Kanga's, a 576 Drowsee and 3 600-800 CP Electrobuzz. Got my Margikarp candy up by 40 doing a walk around the Olympic regatta center as well. And walked off 6 pikachu candy. Not a bad day considering my lad is still pretty crook.

Re: Pokemon Go
I picked my daughter up from dance class last night. Turns out there's a Meowth nest there. Caught 3 while I was waiting.
Shame they're so crap.

Re: Pokemon Go
My problem is living in the sticks I have to travel so far to get anything decent. We went to a specific park about 40 km away that has been showing a mini pikachu nest on the app for a few days but came up dry today.

Re: Pokemon Go
The flip side is living in a city, where all I get are the standard pigeons and rats. 8 pigeons popped up last night when I was walking the dog, 3 on the same street.

Re: Pokemon Go
Yup get that too, closest town is 15 km away and all I got down there is rats and pidgeys. I still take them though to get the stardust.

My mate thinks I'm joking when I told him I'm going to spend half my time in Tokyo catching Pokémon

Re: Pokemon Go
Considering I've never been into gaming and before this app came out I had no idea about Pokémon except Byrons fav was Pikachu, it's got me hooked! Mid 40's chasing virtual creatures

Re: Pokemon Go
Slightly jealous of you going to Tokyo.. Make sure you get enough farfetch'd to trade when they bring that into the game
When I went to London I didn't catch anything new but that was mainly down to a lack of time and spending what time there was with my family..
I now have Bulbasaur as my buddy - want to get a Venusaur

Re: Pokemon Go
Went for the usual walk last night, this time my son came along. He caught a couple of new Pokémon so he was happy. He couldn't work out why he wasn't picking up any eggs - turns out he's got 9 and only 2 incubators.

Re: Pokemon Go
It was raining yesterday and the boy is still crook so we did a car based poke hunt. Went to my old suburb down the hill. Got 4 pikachu candy just from driving around slowly!
But picked up enough to evolve a couple. Almost at level 20 now.

Re: Pokemon Go
Hatched a few eggs today.
2km = Caterpie and Weedle
5km - Mannemite, Krabby, Staryu, Shellder, Growlithe
10km - Scyther and Hitmonchan
So all crap apart from the Growlithe.

Re: Pokemon Go
Had the kids at a local park yesterday and saw a Scyther show up near by. I didn't have one but it was one I had attempted catching in the past. So I dragged all the kids (Jorja had a friend with us) about a km to find it .....83 CP
