In fairness D if I ever had the good fortune to own a Porsche 911 GT3 RS my very next purchase after buying the car would be a Rolex alarm clock .................As I would need to get up at 4:30am every day for a 3 hour spank fest before my bacon and eggs

And I would be a very happy, at peace kind of guy for the experience of it

I'd quite like a go in a Tesla model S. Not as supercar as a lot of others in the list but i'd like to try a full leccy as the only other full leccy i have tried is a golf cart.

One of the DJ's that works here has got a model s, good looking car IMO. They are supposed to be quick to as the power from the electric motor is instant, no power bands or turbo lag like petrol / diesel cars.

That was always part of our road ride 'itinerary'...."Where are we going for breakfast??".....then pick some far off place, and set off hungry....only thing that will make me ride a bit faster....!

And the other thing is fuel....the stations are few & far between out in the mountains, so you're always flitting between gas stops....or even carrying extra gas on the pillion seat.

I lost interest in cars for the main part after buying a bike....you can't lean a car, you can't fall off a car, etc.
My old MB literally just sat for years and barely got used at all.....maybe 1000 miles a year if that. I like cars more as a styling exercise...and I like the older ones. New cars just seem so generic these days.

My parents had a Moggy thou soft top, in BRG with a bright red top, if we pestered hard enough as kids, they'd take the top off in the summer and we'd love it. Probably explains an awful lot about me.....

To be honest I like to look at some cars I wouldn't buy a nice car I like older cars myself to be honest like old ferrari or lambos.

My vauxhall meriva 1.4 petrol good enough for me seats go flat in back use it as a van for work
When I need to pick kids up seats come up haha

Won't be braking no speed records though takes about 10 miles to get to 60 haha

Yeah....On reflection, I look like a total douche anyway, so I'd probably have no problem going to the store in a tricked out car....'every little helps' & all that.


I read an article years ago about the autobahn, and how drivers of exotica will regularly get up at oh-dark-thirty just to bray the life out their cars.

It also mentioned that said drivers, if they lose control and go off the road, will go for some pretty decent distances until the car comes to rest in some field, or trees, or whatever. There's been instances where they don't get found for days/weeks. Same crap happens in the mountains here all the time. Half the time they just recover the person and leave the vehicle (although they're not supposed to)....too hard to remove them.
