Why are they so chuffing expensive? They can't cost much to make.
Was looking at getting some spares for the HJC but not at those prices.

Re: Pinlock Inserts
Totally agree however people are happy to pay for them because they work and you don't have to keep spraying the defogging spray every 5 minutes

Re: Pinlock Inserts
Tried them and.....
Overrated and overpriced.
I don't mind the spray, but more BS to faff on with. Just ride with the visor barely cracked seems to do the trick just as well, although it's a bit chilly.

Re: Pinlock Inserts
I've started using them again after about 10 years off, but only because they came "free" with the helmet.
I'd still say the foggy mask things work better, cost a lot less and make you look like a ninja! Plus you don't need one for each visor.

Re: Pinlock Inserts
I only have a pinlock on my clear visor as the dark visor only comes out when it's not likely to rain so doesn't need a pinlock. I use it cos it works.

Re: Pinlock Inserts
those masks are shit if you wear glasses though. I tried it once and my glasses just steam up.
