Heartily agree.....I always remember my dear old Dad telling me the hardest thing about being a policeman was NOT seeing really bad traffic accidents, murder scenes etc. - That was something you got used to, and something you expected.....something that was even interesting in it's own macabre way.

What he hated was seeing the way people lived and things they accepted as 'normal'......babies sitting in the middle of a room surrounded by dogsh*t.....hadn't had their nappies changed when they should have been. No food in the home, etc.

The mind boggles.

A customer that has screwed around with the operation settings on a certified piece of kit (that are sealed by us for safety) and then expects me to sort out the resultant mess for nothing. Nice try, but no chance, give me an order number or sort it yourself. Bloody amateurs dicking about with stuff they don't understand and will end up hurting someone or damaging a £500k machine.

The youngest's new boyfriend, who seemingly is lazy, doesn't talk, doesn't change clothes, doesn't like the sun, doesn't like to swim, doesn't like to help out, doesn't use sun creme, doesn't look after himself and when visiting the tattoo parlour couldn't make his mind up so has lots of random simple shitty pictures all over his arms and legs.
