Re: Gaming thread
It's not out for IOS in the UK yet, but no doubt it will take over my house when it does.
In other gaming news as part of the last 9 months of negotiation to move all 4 kids to a new school (long story I won't bore you with) I've had to agree to build a Gaming PC for my eldest. I haven't told him it's going in the office on the big screen yet though.
Not built one for a while (10 years) but thinking I might wait for AMD to release it's new Zen chipset and get a Polaris GPU

It's not out for Android in the UK either
I've not built a PC for years, so I've no idea what's available.

Re: Gaming thread
Took my, I mean our
first gym. The closest one to our house at the lookout. Only dumped a lower CP poke there as the kids didn't want to lose out good ones
Took my daughter to another park with a lure today, good dozen people. The lure expired and everyone just up and left, not a word spoken. An old bloke walking his dog looked totally bemused

Re: Gaming thread
It is quite funny, when this thread was started I thought, well I'll have nothing to contribute to this one!!!

Re: Gaming thread
I bumped into a couple of kids playing Pokémon Go last night. There's a Pokestop near me I walk the dog to. Had a quick chat and parted ways. 5 minutes later I bump into them again chasing Pokémon

Re: Gaming thread
In Darwin, blown 2 full phone chargers, 14 new pokes in the PokeDex, 3 level ups, 4 eggs hatched and 8 km walked!
I guess I'm past saying 'oh I just do this with the kids'

Re: Gaming thread
I went into to Birmingham city centre at the weekend - pokestops, gyms and pokemon everywhere. There's bugger near my home and nothing at work. It's crap.

Re: Gaming thread
Just had a 602 CP Pigeot appear. I wasted about 40 balls including 20 good ones. Nothing was hitting the target. I got it in the end.

Those pidgeys are little f**kers! Even the unevolved ones are a prick to catch sometimes. You using raspberries first?? Makes it a bit easier.Kwacky wrote:Just had a 602 CP Pigeot appear. I wasted about 40 balls including 20 good ones. Nothing was hitting the target. I got it in the end.

I am using them on the higher CP pokies.
I had a Ponyta appear in my collection last night. No idea where it came from.
