Re: Kais suspension
Just drove up to Kais who were adamant mine isnt under recall so I printed off the emails and form I filled in from Ohlins. The guy at Kais showed me on his laptop the recall form so I pointed out he was filling the wrong one in
They were very apologetic and will have my shock ready later today, they told me out of about 300 they have inspected under warranty only about 3 locking nuts were loose.
My spring weight is about right for road and track so I can leave that as it is,im riding back up to have the sag and front and rear set up for me in leathers helmet etc
What a load of faffing about

Re: Kais suspension
Sounds like an honest mistake. We are all human, it's nice they have told you how many they have done and actually a very small amount of them have been faulty, shows they are doing their job on all the shocks that have come in to them

Re: Kais suspension
Tbh I don't see it as a mistake. They should be more professional imo. Ohlins is a premium product you should be able to rely on quality support especially if they have done it 300 times already. It's not like Perkles is there first customer.
Aside from that I'm glad your finally sorted Perks and hope the set up goes smoothly mate.

Re: Kais suspension
Just a bit of info blade the spring that comes with the ttx ka040 is one rate down from what circuit racers use,So it's just about perfect for fast road and track days
