Always tempted to take mine on track even though there is a nagging doubt it might kill the engine once and for all. Mine has nearly 24,000 miles now.

Isn't 25k about right for a refresh mate.?
I realise that I'm not familiar with Ducati engines, but most engines can be as good as (if not better than) new with replacement bearing shells, piston rings etc... ???


(h) Fwiw they look so sexy that a 748 as a track bike for £2k would have me suckered for sure......... (nod)




......if my 675 wasn't even better & even sexier.! (IMHO, of course ;) )

Don't know much about dukes but i know of v twins s to do over 50k easy
