Woke up to a covering of snow and a flooded garden. Don't you just love bank holiday Mondays?

Re: What are you doing today ??
Got approx 3hrs kip last night, with the wind howling on our bedroom window, the power going off and on and making every device bleep in the house and wondering just what we'd find come daylight it was a fraught night. I'm glad our house faces west as it tends to protect our fences etc, the wind has still ripped all the roofing felt off our shed though....
55mph Max wind speed here although it sounded more in the dark.

Re: What are you doing today ??
I slept through, but I was dog tired from last week.
I've just come back in from being out in my own barn in the rear paddock to check things out.
Standing in it is actually quite unnerving.:
I could feel the ground actually being shaken by the wind, as it pulls at the structure.!
That and the cladding sheets creaking & groaning. A few of them were even lifting a touch, I really should have put more more fixings in per sheet. Another job for me I think as soon as the weather permits (as long as it manages to survive this lot ).

Internet work....funny how life throws stuff at you that you never expect....couple of years ago I would never have imagined that I'd ever be doing something on the web that actually pays money....now it's pretty much all that I do...
Plus, it actually pays pretty damn well...it's not HUGE money, but for the effort involved it's virtually 'free money'.

Fwiw (before I'd read Monty's angle) my thoughts was that D41 was nibbling at the Nigerian's niche market.

Re: What are you doing today ??
Yep....it's weird dude....I knew virtually nothing about computers, restaurants, candy production (of all things??) etc....just kinda 'fell' into it through a friend...today I'm just pottering around cleaning laptops...including my own...amazing how filthy these things get...and I clean mine a LOT...but then again I'm on it a lot too (in case you hadn't noticed!)...but mostly it's work oriented these days....and what's more, I can watch the TV, etc. while I do it.
And what's even better....I FRICKIN' ENJOY IT!!
