Re: What are you doing today ??
Did my good deed for the day and helped a damsel in distress. Someone had broken down at a junction and was blocking a lane at a set of lights.
Sadly everyone else thought it was more helpful to tell her to move her car or blast their horn.
I stopped to help. A bloke in a car joined in and we got her car out of the way on to a quiet road where she could calm herself down and wait for help.

My current place did the same. When I quizzed it I was told that they would have flagged up any issues before we got that far.
I'm sure you've breezed it.

Re: What are you doing today ??
Waiting on biopsy results... Again.
I'm sure my dermatologist just cuts something out of me every visit so he can charge a biopsy fee extra every time. The problem is I can guarantee if I don't let him cut it out that'll be the one to get me
My first visit to him was with a suspect BCC on my nose which was confirmed and once cut out (13 mm diameter) required a full thickness skin graft to repair my nose. Since then I've had 6 biopsies in 4 visits and only one has come back as a tumour but non-cancerous and the biopsy got it all anyway.
I fully expect this one to come back clear too. It's in a spot on my back I can't reach, so I've had to teach my 6 yr old daughter how to clean the stitches site with saline and redress it for me.

Better to get it checked over than not Kiwi...but also on another note your poor daughter having to look at stitches at such s young age, gives me the shivers just thinking about seeing skin pinched together with a bit of thread haha!!

Re: What are you doing today ??
She's used to it, I've had more than a couple of stitched injuries since she's been alive. And like me she's prone to nose bleeds, like 2 a week on average, so she's used to the sight of blood and it doesn't bother her. The bit she liked the most was ripping the dressing off and taking a crop of back hair with it, little sadistRossgo wrote:Better to get it checked over than not Kiwi...but also on another note your poor daughter having to look at stitches at such s young age, gives me the shivers just thinking about seeing skin pinched together with a bit of thread haha!!

Glue???
Last time I had stitches was in the head....I'd got in a fight and inadvertently head-butted the concrete by mistake.

4 in shin - cut by tiles while renovating
4 in other shin - big stack on the MTB bike
4 in finger - micro surgery to remove a palm spike
30+ on nose and beside ear for the graft
About 8-10 for the ongoing biopsies
Had a chainsaw wound glued, made a mess.
Only ever had one lot in NZ, 9 in my ear as I cut it in half head butting a metal edged stair while pissed.

Re: What are you doing today ??
The day started at 1 am. Little girl wet her bed so shared mine for the rest of the night
Then she had a blood nose and diarrhea this morning.
Forgot how literal my Austic son takes things when I told him to pee outside because Jorja was hogging the loo. Had to wash down the deck
A load of bed clothes washing done and hung out between school lunches and the rest of the morning rountines. Dropped at school now back so I can have some breakie! Back at the school in an hour for the Easter Hat Parade.

I'll be carrying on with this mantra for a bit just to convince myself!

Although my boss is off he's still managed to email me over night asking for a load of stuff to be done before he's back in on Tuesday.
