Interesting blog
I posted this on Faceache but not all of you get to see my posts so thought I'd post it here as well.
One of my mates, Bunny, is a bouncer on the doors of central Manchester. He's probably the hardest man I know, but very also very intelligent. He's started a blog to share some of his experiences. It's not for the faint hearted as he (literally for once!) doesn't pull any punches in describing some of the things he's seen and done, but it makes for great reading. See what you think...

I hope the pay is good and the chicks are free as that sounds like hard work and agro to me, and I thought my job was tough.

Re: Interesting blog
Just causally interested. Don't go to any trouble to ask but if it pops up in conversation would be interesting to know.

I hope that means something to you, Blade!Bunny wrote:Due to a certain amount of anonymity I cannot disclose where I currently work. However, I have previously worked all over manchester from Yates in Piccadilly gardens, Fallowfield, Deansgate Locks and so many in between.

Re: Interesting blog
Yates in Piccadilly is more a fight pit than a bar.
He will have definitely earnt his wages in that sh1t hole.
Deansgate locks is a lot smarter but like anywhere it gets its portions of pricks at a weekend.
Good blog and enjoying reading it.

Re: Interesting blog
I suppose. Thing is, around my work mates, all our stories sound similar and thus are 'normal', it's only when I talk to civilians they seem really interested and entertained by what I think is routine.Kwacky wrote:I bet you've got some tales to tellMac wrote:Interesting read

Bunny's just posted another blog - really thought provoking and a bit of a gut-wrencher. Well worth a read. http://bunnythebouncer.blogspot.co.uk/2 ... g.html?m=1" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Having read his January blog I can only confirm that trying to save a damsel in distress never works.
Twice I've stepped in to stop a bloke being a twunt to his lady friend and on both occasions the female has told me to mind my own business.
