Too fast on an unknown road by the looks of it, fingers crossed the rider is still with us.

Looks like a combination of poor suspension, riding too fast and target fixation once it all went Pete Tong.

Looks like Darwins theory in action. IMO the muppet doesn't deserve to be on the road riding like that.; If there had been a kid or pet walking along the verge or coming out of the house on the left he could have killed them before he'd even registered that they were there.
No sympathy here.

Re: where to start with this one....
Looked like he lost control, gained it again, realised it was a sharp bend but it was too late reactions went out the window saw where he was going to land and wished it was going to be a soft one! Far to fast but think we all go a little fast now and then, but this guy got caught out

Re: where to start with this one....
Rewatched and to be honest he was clearly going far too fast for the road conditions and place (looks like houses around the area) bend was far too sharp junction on that bend, hmmm wouldn't be posting that yo on FB in my honest opinion

It would appear to be an MT09 Yamaha which has had a lot of criticism for the poor quality of the suspension.

Re: where to start with this one....
Does the bend really tighten up I can't see on my tiny phone screen if it is tight or not and didn't notice any chevrons or other warning signs or road markings. Clearly he was going to fast and not reading the road or riding to the conditions but maybe he just bottled it as he was taken by surprise.

Your not wrong. The one I rode had no feel whatsoever.duke63 wrote:It would appear to be an MT09 Yamaha which has had a lot of criticism for the poor quality of the suspension.

That's a public road, not a bloody racetrack. Let's hope his time in hospital will help him reflect on how much worse it could have been.Kwacky wrote:Fractured left hip. He was lucky.

Haven't we all done a few stupid rides though and usually get away with it?

Re: where to start with this one....
@Blade it wasn't all that sharp but sharp enough to take someone by surprise from the camera angle at least. Looks like he didn't even look around the bend just straight on to the junction and finally crashing!!
