Re: What are you doing today ??
Today will be dismantling all the Christmas decos, boxing them up and returning the house to normal.
Odd stuff for today will be teaching mini gee how a record player works, I was bought a new one for Christmas along with a record I'd lost years ago. We played around with it last night and I'd forgotten how good the sound is, we are seriously short changed with modern music in its compressed format, mini gee was utterly fascinated by both the hardware and the different sound, he asked so many questions it was really quite touching.

Have a really great time, but if you don't already have one ffs wear a helmet (even more so if the coverage is shallow).

Took the Blood Blade out for a spin... she's not quite finished yet (waiting for the pannier rack to be fitted then the panniers are being vinyl'd to match) but it was such a perfect day in the 1hr sunshine window I had to stop for a pic or two

Me too mate.Kwacky wrote:Agreed to go shopping with the family.
Spent all day shopping with Deany.
In one shop I was in the waiting area next to the changing rooms whilst Deany tried on about 6x different sets of trousers. Each time she tried a pair on she came out to ask my opinion.
I informed her honestly.

After the third "fail" in a row, the changing room assistant in the changing room turned to me & she said "you're brave"

My "honesty " didn't save me much ££ though.

Re: What are you doing today ??
So today I went back to the gym and within 2 months (or so haha) of not going I am fat, officially!! A lot of work needs to go in to getting me to loose a stone back to orginal normal weight, I have eaten far too much and not excerised at all.
But what worried me was when I was running after 35 mins my left leg started to lock up. I know that I'm getting jip from knee for a while (hence not having the will power of going for a fair few months because I've hated the feeling) but today it almost locked and made me fall. Feel to young to be getting this sort of jip!

Re: What are you doing today ??
Rossgo. Go to your GP asap that's what they are therfore mate.
If something is wrong your then in the system to get it put right. I was 6 months before I was told I need surgery and then a 4.5 month waiting list and that was a rush job on the NHS.
My advice is get in the system and get professionally assessed the worst and I mean absolute worst think you can do is push on with training with an injury.

Also look at doing low impact training like cycling etc to keep the fat burning with out worsening the knee injury. Good luck and hope you feel better soon.
