Re: No particular place to go
My brothers been sending photos for a daily sitrep and I'm following the Val D'Isere Instagram page. Looks okay. There is snow down but a few pistes are closed. I'm not too fussed, free trip. If I don't ski I'll be in the pub

Re: No particular place to go
Looking at the snow reports has been getting me down. I hope you have enough coverage to enjoy some time on the slopes mate.TonyB wrote:My brothers been sending photos for a daily sitrep and I'm following the Val D'Isere Instagram page. Looks okay. It seems to me that we often get second-hand weather from the States, about two weeks after they experience it. So if that follows through then maybe there will be some pretty hefty snowfall later on.?
I don't really fancy going to America or Canada this season, so I'm going to sit on my hands & hope that I can book last minute somewhere in Europe straight after that "serious snow" has finished falling.
I can always hope.!

Re: No particular place to go
The coverage should be ok. My brothers team have been able to train everyday so it's not as bad as what's reported. It's always the negatives that get most coverage online/in the news so I'm being optimistic.

It doesn't look like I will make this with all that's going on at the minute.

If my knee was better I would definitely be making the most of this mild weather.

I got caught in a wind/rain/hail storm on the way back. It was a good job I've got good kit otherwise I would have been soaked.
