Cleaned the chain checked for slackness and tight spots and relubed it and I gave the calipers a going over with brake cleaner. Could really do with a full on degunge but can't seem to find the time. Maybe Saturday....

Bloody cold again tonight on the ride home.
Got almost 17.5 litres in the tank this evening.

She was supposed to start a new job at the hospital she was admitted to on Sunday but they were quite understanding about it. Sis has a couple of bruises and is gutted about her bike but all in all she's fine. She needs a new lid and just waiting for the replacement exhaust for her bike then its good to go, bar a few scratches on the fairing.Kwacky wrote:Tony, how's your sister after her spill?

Not on exactly on a bike but hired a snow mobile today and was drifting it in the snow with my eldest on the back.
My lad asked me is this what riding a motorbike is like Dad. When I said yes my lad said through giggles of laughter, I know why you ride bikes Dad
I think a biker was born today

Today I went for a hundred mile blast through the rain, fog, cold and wind! Really enjoyed the ride today. Went around a bend on really poor road surface and the rear wheel snaked. Made me skip a heartbeat! If I was going any faster or leaning any further I'm sure it would of chucked me off!

This is the sole reason I'm thinking about rebuilding my moped. 50cc 4 stroke, £17 tax and 130mpgkingfixer wrote:Not today but I managed to get out on the Multi for a bit yesterday I had to go into Town to go to the Apple shop, so much easier on a bike.!!

I managed to avoid the 6 mile tailback on the M6 and went another way into work.
I have no idea what's happened to drivers on the M6 in the West Midlands but I reckon 50% of my journeys are disrupted by accidents and lane closures. I'm so glad I don't drive to work.

Went out for an observed ride today. I got paired up with a observer who is also a cross checker and he scored me as a 1. Really enjoyed the run today.
Was dry for the morning and the posses it down about 30 mins after putting the bike away...so happy didn't get caught out in it!

Ordered a new cover for the SX.
The R&G one is crap. It's going back. The rear panel has cracked, the front buckle snapped and it's rubbed the paint off the bar ends.
I've gone all out and bought an Oxford Protex.
