Watched 'Grand Prix - The Killing years' last night which i recorded a few weeks ago.

Fascinating and difficult portrait of just how tough and dangerous motor racing was from the 1950's onwards. And the steps that drivers especially Jackie Stewart, took to make racing safer.

Yeah it was pretty good, love the Coen bros stuff myself, I was a bit worried in case it wasn't up to the standard of the film, but 'oh ya' it was good

Hoping to catch a game of pro football when I come out to the States in Oct, I'm staying down in San Antonio for a week, contacted the Rams to enquire about their schedule but had no reply yet, bit of a long shot anyway tbh, wouldn't be surprised if Brett Favre hasn't come out of retirement by the time we get out there
