Re: What you watching?
That's good it will be available got longer as I still haven't watched call center and well any telly on BBC for probably around a month lol I can't remember how long ago it was first aired!
I don't understand why BBC have to charge for something that should be obsolete by now. Just start airing ads and the bill would go surely

Watched 'Grand Prix - The Killing years' last night which i recorded a few weeks ago.
Fascinating and difficult portrait of just how tough and dangerous motor racing was from the 1950's onwards. And the steps that drivers especially Jackie Stewart, took to make racing safer.

Fargo, the TV series, not bad, Billy bob Thornton, Martin Freeman and Bob Odenkirk of 'better call Saul' fame, the IMDB gave the series a 9.3 rating and it was suitably quirky as you might except from something derived from a Coen bros movie, check it out

I can't really see the point of running the Indy circuit. It is short and very dull.

Last night watched that Warwick weekend program on ITV1 catch up player and must say it was pretty good. He's a funny character that Warwick got a good sense of humour :-)

Watched the pilot and laughed my ass off, but then again I'm a huge Coen brothers fan.Stew wrote:Fargo, the TV series, not bad, Billy bob Thornton, Martin Freeman and Bob Odenkirk of 'better call Saul' fame, the IMDB gave the series a 9.3 rating and it was suitably quirky as you might except from something derived from a Coen bros movie, check it out

Yeah it was pretty good, love the Coen bros stuff myself, I was a bit worried in case it wasn't up to the standard of the film, but 'oh ya' it was goodMac wrote:Watched the pilot and laughed my ass off, but then again I'm a huge Coen brothers fan.Stew wrote:Fargo, the TV series, not bad, Billy bob Thornton, Martin Freeman and Bob Odenkirk of 'better call Saul' fame, the IMDB gave the series a 9.3 rating and it was suitably quirky as you might except from something derived from a Coen bros movie, check it out

Currently watching Red Sox / Yankees game. I know from some old D41 threads that baseball is understandably not huge in the UK, but then again I don't understand cricket.

Re: What you watching?
Hoping to catch a game of pro football when I come out to the States in Oct, I'm staying down in San Antonio for a week, contacted the Rams to enquire about their schedule but had no reply yet, bit of a long shot anyway tbh, wouldn't be surprised if Brett Favre hasn't come out of retirement by the time we get out thereMac wrote:Currently watching Red Sox / Yankees game. Think we're coming over on Sun 5th Oct and heading home the following Sunday, so unless there's some Monday night football local to San Amtonio we'll be watching it on the TV I guessMac wrote:When in Oct. are you coming?
