The most entertaining part of this morning's ride wa seeing a bloke riding towards the city centre on his bandit 600

For someone who doesn't like riding in strong winds, I'm doing a lot of it. It's nasty out there tonight.

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
Yesterday I decided to give my lid a proper clean down. Well think I found out why the vents weren't doing as good a job as they used to...I found so many flies in them and to my amazment I also found big massive flies stuck in them.
It was so bad my vents were so blocked I had to use the shower without the head and pump water through each of them. Could not believe how bad they were!
I've clearly done this at the wrong time of year because now I am going to be freezing while riding as the vents on the NEXX are very good. I should of done this at the beginning of summer!!

I did the same at the end of the summer. There was a small army of dead insects in my lid.

I suppose we all think we clean our lids but you don't really know what's inside until you give it a good strip down!!

Nice ride in this morning, relatively warm, dry roads, no rain.

Yes. Last night was dry too which was nice.
I'm having to charge my bike every night at the moment. Hopeflly should get time to fit my new battery this weekend. Will link up my heated gloves too at same time. OOO that'll be nice.

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
Nothing to do with the bike but sent my Shoei GT Air back as it whistles
Changed the visor from the original dark visor back to the clear one, adjusted the visor screws to make the visor sit tighter when closed and it still whistles
Scenario is when your looking in to a left hander at around 70mph + and theres a high pitched noise (even with ear plugs in) that sounds like its comng from the top of the helmet on the right hand side
Tried it with the vents closed, open, open at the front closed at the back and t'other way round but it still whistles.
Feridax have had it back to test via DH Autos in Stoke where I purchased it from

Had an Audi RS race me.
Nice idea mate, but it's rush hour and you're 2 miles away from a 40mph average speed area with front facing cameras. So I'll let you go by at over 100 mph then I'll filter past you when you get stuck.
Dick.

My favourite fodder. I love running people into forward facing speed camerasKwacky wrote:Had an Audi RS race me.

That area is rife with unmarked police cars. Warwickshire Police are hot on speeding and uninsured drivers @OPUWarks on twitter for details) They're very active, so it's not an area to be dicking around in.
