Fixed the washing machine. Ha!!!
£7 for the brushes and the same again for next day delivery. Far cheaper than the £120 call out fee the repairers want these days.
At least we wont all smell like the audience off a Jeremy Kyle show now.

Nice work. There's not much that's as satisfying as fixing something yourself. Especially when it saves you moneyduke63 wrote:Fixed the washing machine. Ha!!!

Had a moment of inspiration (read as madness) and started decorating the dining room....
Didn't realise that paint went of though, opened a pot of white paint I've had for a few years and it smelt like bad beer farts...

Getting over my Christmas Grinch.
The kids have never had a real tree because of my wife's allergies, so we could this year. I always had real trees growing up and just feels right.

My kids did crap. If I'm going to send them out for adoption I need to do it before we buy them any Christmas presents.

Re: What are you doing today ??
Upgraded the phone to Android 6 last night. Not a lot different from 5.1 on the outside, on the inside lots of changes to permissions and performance/battery life. It seems a touch smoother and I've been on battery now for 10 hours and the battery is still at 80%.

Re: What are you doing today ??
Yesterday I had the door in bit on the car, drill in hand, to take out the rivets holding the window regulator in place. Got totally pissed off with trying to fit the parts to a car that was determined to thawt (spelling unsure - Its underlined so must be wrong ha ha) at every turn. Two Saturdays in a row this is been a pain in my side, not to mention the cuts and numb fingers..
Anyway, fitted the new regulator kit, popped the window back in, fitted all the door panels and bit and bobs back on, ok time to start this baby. FFS!!! Dead, jumped the car, got some power, window going up and down a treat, went to pull away it all went pete tong! I think the clutch has gone now... FOR CRYING OUT LOUD ---- THIS IS REALLY DOING MY HEAD IN... I don't have time for this crap...arghhhhhh. I am not an expert on this, I think the clutch slave has gone, but I am not going to guess by trial and error and obviously costing me more time and money...
I will be on the phone to the garage tomorrow, they can come and takee it way and take a look. I am done with this nightmare... Rant over

Good to hear that your window is working at last. Regarding your clutch, if it's been left stood for a while could it simply be that the clutch has got slightly wet & stuck.Frankie wrote:..... think the clutch has gone now...
