Nice ride in this morning. The lack of wind and rain made a change. The only idiot I had to deal with was a large dumper truck trying to block people from using the Bus Lane. The twat.

Picked her up and took for out for a blast. Wow it feels a lot smoother, it feels like it just glides over bumps and not runs over them. Gary has done a fab job

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
Took the 999 out for a spin down to Fowlers for some lunch as it was sunny and dry. Now I have fitted the rear sets I can't seem to find a decent position for gear lever, I needed to drop it down but I can't as it hits the fairing so had to completely move the rear set , hope fully I have it right now, a quick blip today to test.

Nowt with mine but popped along to the opening on the new DMC Ducati dealership in Stoke.
Met up with Shakey Byrne who was hobbling after an op to repair damage to his leg. Says he hopes to be running at the front on the Panigale next year as they have factory backing and been working on the deal for sometime.
Saw the new Monster 1200R which looks and feels lovely.

Not really. Tank is almost underneath you as the seating position is well forward.Kwacky wrote:That does look good. Is it as wide as it seems?
One of those bikes you sit on and instantly it feels just right.

Havent done anything over the weekend but some nutter filtered passed me this morning on a ZX1000 whilst I was stuck in traffic on the M6 going in to Coventry
Fair play .... the temperature gauge in my lovely warm, static car was saying it was 0.5'deg c outside
I bet they think their nuts have gone into hibernation

Maybe, just maybe, some of the others washed theirs when they got them home after riding them?
It's out there as a strange suggestion, I know, but I thought I would mention it.
