Re: Paris
The irony is that the current government have cut funds to the NHS which leaves the NHS computer systems vulnerable.

Re: Paris
Not necessarily the case. Many NHS trusts have outsourced patient throughput, clinical access solutions etc. to private specialist companies. I work for one of them....and security is always at the top of our agenda.Kwacky wrote:The irony is that the current government have cut funds to the NHS which leaves the NHS computer systems vulnerable.

Re: Paris
Wasn't there an issue with the various systems failing to talk to each other? That's often open to exploit.

Re: Paris
Thanks all for the comments about my lad.
It was blood tests today and hopefully they will come back clear. I don't even want to talk about if they don't as I'm pretty worried tbh.

Re: Paris
I'm an anti war pacifist, but even I agree now it's time to wipe out ISIS through what ever means possible. The status quo is no longer tenable.
My only caveat is it must be UN led and include China, India, Russia, Iran, Israel etc

Re: Paris
Not a bad idea, give them 5 years and they'll be building settlements in Raqqa

Re: Paris
Western Governments need to been seen to be taking active action to make their people feel save going about their daily buisness and living in their homes and communities.
If they don't will we see western paramilitary groups formed to fighter ISIS and defend our communities. May seem far fetched but the Ulster Defence Assicoation numbered 40,000 active members at its peak in the troubles and were primarily engaged in fighting the IRA.
Not suggesting this is the right course of action but suggesting it is a possible outcome if things become more intense and governments are not seen as being effect in protecting their people.

Re: Paris
I had heard a game was called off but that is horrific, thank god the attack was stopped.
Was Paris the start of a prolonged and intense campaign against the west?

You've hit the nail on the head there. If it's seen to be that those in charge can't look after people then people tend to look after themselves . That comes with a whole host of other problematic stuff as it takes a well determined and organised set of people to carry it out . Otherwise it's just a mob. I for one would not hesitate to look after mine. I'd even look after all yours too......even if some of you maybe peaceniks

Re: Paris
There are already paramilitary groups out there fighting ISIS.
Sadly one of the best groups is made up of Kurds, which Turkey doesn't like, so Turkey is bombing the Kurds which helps ISIS.
Confused yet?

Re: Paris
I hope it never comes to it Binno. But as you say this could happen if people feel no alternative means of keeping there's safe. I also imagine there would be a number of people with the nessecary skills and financical backing will to act this way if pushed far enough.

Yes it's a complex subject and one I could easily be confused with tbh as I'm not that we'll informed or read in all honesty.Kwacky wrote:There are already paramilitary groups out there fighting ISIS.

I was thinking more westerns paramilitary groups as in French, Dutch, German, British nationals etc...
