All went well except the locknut locking washer was a real pita to unseat but I eventually got it free and all went well from then onwards.
The slipper clutch is designed for both the Honda SP1 & SP2 but the two OEM clutches differ with the SP2 having a judder spring and seat when the SP1 does not. When assembling the pack I moved the judder spring and seat out one plate as advised by Neil Spalding other wise they can become trapped when the ramp opens up.
The friction discs all measured 3.8 mm which is within the service limit of 3.5 mm but the assembled clearance between the pack and the clutch cover is a little bit out. Clearance measure's 1.25 mm when the manual says 1.0 mm for IL4's and 1.5 mm for Ducati's and other big Japanese V-Twins. I will give Neil a call after lunch and see what he recommends.
Some pics of the installation.
